El Paso Saves is part of a nationwide campaign involving over one hundred thousand Savers and hundreds of non-profit, corporate, and government organizations that encourage and assist anyone living in the U.S.A. to build long-term assets. El Paso participants include:

El Paso Saves, in partnership with the national America Saves campaign, offers consumers free financial education and asset development creation workshops and low-balance and no-fee savings accounts at participating credit unions. Nationally, all participants receive free tips and information about saving, a one-year subscription to the America Saves newsletter, and access to volunteer certified financial planners by phone or internet.

El Paso Saves services are supported by generous contributions from the National Credit Union Foundation, the Credit Unions of El Paso, Texas, Fannie Mae, the Consumer Federation of America, and El Paso Affordable Housing CUSO as well as from many in-kind donations by its many partners.

 

Who Manages and Supports America Saves?

Representatives from some 60 national organizations advise the campaign, which is managed by the non-profit Consumer Federation of America. Representatives from 18 pro-housing groups advise the homeownership initiatives within the larger campaign.
